Coupling with remote sensing satellite observations

In the last decade, retrievals of trace gas concentrations from satellite observation revealed to be a useful tool for monitoring the transport and the seasonal variation of the main pollutants on global and regional scale. Therefore, employment of satellite remote sensing methodologies, based on modelling and monitoring is among one of the best investigation methods to globally quantify changes in the atmosphere and in the biosphere.
